As you might have already heard, our brand is getting ready to show at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair’s 26th edition this year. We are terribly excited and can’t wait to see all the creativity that the event will gather.
Occipinti, amongst other British brands, will be showing at the fair as a member of the British European Design Group (BEDG), which promotes great designs and designers that are brewing right here in Britain. Here are some of our favourite picks from the British talent that will be showing their effervescent work at ICFF, New York with us this May.
Dupenny’s vintage tongue-in-cheek designs are a black and white ode to the pin-up aesthetic, with portrayals of herculean strongmen and provocative female silhouettes printed on wallpaper, art prints and ceramics. Dupenny’s unexpected twist on the glamorous 50’s look is a great way to add a youthful touch of nostalgia to your home.

Geometrical and oniric get along like a house on fire in the designs by Abigail Edwards, throwing together breezy colours and images from nature in an almost hypnotic series of designs. Edwards’ work focuses on wallpaper, but you can also find pillows and mugs to add a little bit of its magic to your home.
Here’s where you can see her work.
Camilla’s collection of wallpaper is an endless source of blossoming florals that can help keep the spring spirit all year round. The graphic lines in her work in combination with the vibrant use of colour translate into a feel-good collection. In addition to wallpaper, she also has a line of stationery, tea towels and pillows to add small doses of vitality.

Deborah’s work is all about tricking the eye. Her collection is a marvelous series of trompe-l’oeil, where printed bookshelves, clothes hangers, lamps and chairs disguise themselves by blending into scenes of day-to-day life. The collection looks at common objects in a different light and observes their beauty, turning the ordinary into extraordinary.
